From 10am-4pm this Friday 17th November, the Cicerone office will be open to the public – why not take the chance to see how books like The Snowdonia Way are written and published?!
Alex, the author of The Snowdonia Way, will also be there to answer questions about what it’s like being a guidebook author.
They say:
“We would like to invite you to our open day for the Kendal Mountain Festival weekend.
Cicerone staff and authors will welcome you to our new office where you can browse and buy books, enjoy a guided tour and find out more about how we go about choosing and making guidebooks.
We, and a few of our authors, will be here to answer any questions such as ‘how do you choose what to publish?’ and ‘what’s it like to actually research and write a book?’, or specific questions about walks and treks.
We will also provide free tea, coffee and biscuits.
Please call to book a free place – 01539 562069.”
Their address is: Cicerone Press office, Juniper House, Murley Moss, Kendal, LA9 7RL
