Thank you to everyone who came along on Saturday night to the talk about the Snowdonia Way at the Moel Siabod Cafe in Capel Curig. It was great to see around 35 people there for the evening, and I hope you found it interesting and entertaining! Hopefully some of you were inspired to walk the route, or at least have some excellent armchair adventures with the book.
In total we raised £272, which was divided between the Moel Siabod Cafe’s effort to raise money for a defibrillator, and the BMC’s ‘Mend our Mountains’ campaign for path repairs in the hills.
The £136 for the Cadair Idris path was topped up to £150! You can read about the campaign here.
It was also excellent to hear about Paul’s 22 hour run of the whole main route (spread over 5 days). This is of course the knew ‘best known time’. Anyone for beating it?
